Once a week, students are encouraged to play together and listen to one another. Playing as a collective is not only musically rewarding, but also inculcates the required awareness to hear each other while hearing the self. It helps one grow in music. This, we believe, is integral to music learning. We are glad to see it in our students.
Students are encouraged to create their music or play what they have learned; teachers and students play together, followed by a discussion and an understanding of the music. We have seen students taking interest in other instruments post sharing.
